Sign my petition to Repeal the 32% Income Tax Hike

Last summer the Democrat majority led by Mike Madigan voted to override the Governor’s veto - resulting in a 32% permanent income tax hike. I stood with the Governor’s veto by voting AGAINST the tax increase.

With the House back in session, I filed legislation (HB 4211) to get rid of the 32% income tax hike.

We need to get this tax lowered. We’re semi-retired farmers, just trying to make a living off of low grain prices, don’t need high tax to eat up our little profit.

Our state income tax is already ridiculously high. In the past, it could at least be deducted on our federal taxes. New federal tax law changes make a higher state income tax an even larger burden than before. We, the people, need tax relief.
