Sign my petition to Repeal the 32% Income Tax Hike

Last summer the Democrat majority led by Mike Madigan voted to override the Governor’s veto - resulting in a 32% permanent income tax hike. I stood with the Governor’s veto by voting AGAINST the tax increase.

With the House back in session, I filed legislation (HB 4211) to get rid of the 32% income tax hike.

I am glad to see Charlie is acting like a “Conservative Republican”. I was extremely disappointed with his first vote on the teacher’s bail-out issue. Granted after a lot of public pressure, he voted correctly the second time. Being conservative means smaller government, low taxes and letting/making people be responsible for themselves.
